Hi, thanks but I've tried that and still dosen't work, my phone is conected to the pc but I can't use it like a usb port or even use the kies is just connected I can't work with it.

hi guys

i rooted S2 by this guide inspiredgeek.com/2011/04/30/ho...

it worked fine,

downloaded ROM manager app, flash clockworkmod recovery, selected S2, successfully downloaded clockworkmod recovery. then reboot to recovery via CWM app.

went to the recovery with menu

-------------------------------
android system recovery <3e>

reboot system now
apply update from sdcard
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
------------------------

with message sayings

E:failed to verify whole file signature
E: Signature verification failed

i managed rooted and installed custom ROM's on G1 and desire without any problems in the past.

i have no idea why it wouldnt work on S2

any help would be brilliant thanks

I just bought an Ainol Novo 7 that runs on the Android 4.0. I cannot download a ton of apps because Play tells me "your device is not compatible with this app." Is there a way to fix this or do I have to wait for apps to update? I can't even get the new Angry Birds.

I tend to put it in airplane mode as much as possible. Most of the time I actually don't need a phone because I have my landline at home and I am on the laptop. When I am at work I actually don't want a phone; if I'm not expecting any calls I don't need it. Also I still have a computer at work.

It used to be that the phone was always on. I used to work in a shop and even though I wasn't allowed to use a phone so had to leave it in my locker it was still on all day. Since I have been turning it on only when it is possible to use it and when I need it my battery lasts for days.

I have SGS2 ICS 4.03 - VolDown+Power does not work, too. I have official update via Kies. Stupid.

I hope you can't help me i have ICS 4.0.3 on my galaxy s2 I9100DXLP7 and sad to say no matter what i do the VOL down+ Power to capture screen shot is not working, do u have any update or work around for this problem?

Thanks a lot for your info. I have succesfully installed cwm and a new rom by following your instructions. I just have another question on a need to know basis. Now that the device loads in cwm recovery, how do I revert back to the orignal android recovery, if & when I have to flash the stock rom using odin?

on iPhone 4S, and updated to new iOS5. The new iPhoto icon already appears while screen locked without having to double tap the home button.

When I tap the photo icon, it lifts the locked screen about a 1/4 inch and then drops back down again. It does not fully remove the locked screen, consequently it doesn't open up the Camera app.

The article only describes tapping the home button. What about to take the locked screen away completely? The video on iOS5 at apple.com indicates that when you tap the new photo icon that it opens to Camera app right away. Not so. What am I missing? Thanks!

I followed the above guide and yet my Nook Color did not booted via Honeycomb 4.0. My Nook was recently updated to 1.4.2. The micro sd card is 4GB-class 4. Will appreciate any advice on how to properly dual boot my Nook without bricking it, please.
