Very helpful, though my Firefox has only shown this transparency very recently and it was more than just annoying.

You gave the profile path for Windows, and Mac users will find it instead in Library/Application Support/Firefox ... . But rather than engaging in a somewhat hazardous editing of the profile I used your alternative based on the Stylish addon.

You should give Lucidchart a try! I used Lucidchart's draw network diagram free and it was really easy to understand. If you use diagrams often you should check it out!
